Vertu Constellation Takes Luxury Phones into a New Orbit

Luxury mobile phones have not quite reached the level of watches as an essential accessory for high-flyers, but British manufacturer Vertu are doing all they can to change that.

The luxury smartphone makers have unveiled their latest creation, the Vertu Constellation, boasting a range of lavish materials and features, including a sapphire crystal display.

Known for their bespoke personalisation services, Vertu can also fabricate your Constellation with casings ranging from leather to ostrich and snake skin.

In-built with an anodized aluminium frame and a ruby shortcut access key, the smartphone further boasts of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset, a 4GB of RAM, a massive 128GB of storage, as well as microSD card support.

Other notable characteristics include a feature that allows for fully encrypted calls, thanks to in-built technoloy from SilentCircle, a 5.5-inch display, a 3220mAh battery and a 12-megapixel camera with phase detection autofocus.

The Vertu Constellation will be available to purchase from 10th February, although pricing is yet to be confirmed.
