Vertu Opens New Hong Kong Store

By P. Joseph

Luxury mobile phone maker Vertu has opened a new store in Hong Kong’s prestigious International Finance Centre.

Positioned in the heart of the commercial development on the waterfront of Hong Kong's Central District, the shop is uniquely designed to replicate some of the brand’s product range.

The store’s facade features an interpretation of a design element of the SIM card drawer in the brand's 'Signature' handset - a motif repeated throughout the shop. Fashioned with brushed steel and soft black leather, the in-store counters use materials employed exclusively across the Vertu product range.

Meanwhile pages of a new electronic brand book are projected onto a wall for viewing, providing an insight into the culture and values of Vertu, as well as the product portfolio.

Vertu President, Perry Oosting, said: “Vertu aims to enhance and enrich customers’ lives through the services and products we offer.

“This enrichment will now further extend to the experience in our stores with a focused, tailored approach to customer interaction”.

Founded in the UK in 1998, Vertu is available in over 500 stores, including over 70 Vertu boutiques, in 66 countries worldwide.
