Veuve Clicquot Rich Collection Lives up to its Name

By Paul Joseph

World renowned French champagne house Veuve Clicquot has been pleasing the lips of imbibers for almost 250 years and the brand continues to innovate in its premium offerings.

The latest creation by the Reims-based producer is the Veuve Clicquot Rich collection, a compilation billed as the best mixed wines ever known.

Crafted to specially align with the upcoming season of spring, the collection features carefully selected ingredients that reveal the subtleties of mixology along with the zest and flavour of handpicked fruits.

Among the array of enticing spirits presented by the marquee  are the Rich and the Rich Rosé - both featuring a variety of red fruit juices. While the Rich boasts a concoction of pineapples, grapefruit zest, cucumber, celery and pepper and tea, the Rosé offers a mix of ginger, pineapples, lime, and tea.

The Rich collection is the brainchild of Dominique Demarville, Cellar Master of Veuve Clicquot, and several expert mixologists. The compilation comes packaged in a silver bottle adorned with quintessential Veuve Clicquot comets.

Founded in 1772 by Philippe Clicquot-Muiron, Veuve Clicquot is considered to have played an important role in establishing champagne as a favoured drink of haute bourgeoisie and nobility throughout Europe.
