Video Highlights of the Universal Whisky Experience 2013

Organisers of the 2013 edition of the Universal Whisky Experience, which took place in Las Vegas last month, have released a video showcasing the event’s major highlights.

Whisky enthusiasts and connoisseurs from around the world converged on Las Vegas’s Wynn Hotel for the prestigious two-day event where they were able to sample some of the world’s most sought-after whiskies and indulge in an array of whisky-themed activities.

The video shows guests enjoying all that the show had to offer, included tasting sessions, Masterclasses and helicopter rides to the nearby Grand Canyon.

During the event, which is now in its third year, guests were invited to sample some of the world’s Super-Premium whiskies, valued at $300 per pour and above.

Guests were also able to indulge in a host of other activities including a round of golf on the hotel’s exclusive 18-hole golf course, a speed dating dinner, and whisky and cigar pairings.

Amongst the whisky brands in attendance were Johnnie Walker who were showcasing their special Diamond Jubilee whisky created to mark Queen Elizabeth’s Jubilee year, Glenfiddich and Highland Park. Countries including Tazmania and India were also represented at the event.

The Universal Whisky Experience was founded by Mahesh Pate, a successful commercial real estate developer and passionate whisky connosieur based in Atlanta, Georgia.
