Waldorf Astoria Berlin Opens its Doors
World renowned luxury hotel chain Waldorf Astoria has opened a new residence in the German city of Berlin.
Representing the Hilton-owned brand’s fifth property in Europe, the 232-room hotel is situated within the brand new Zoofenster skyscraper in Berlin’s prestigious Charlottenburg district.
Boasting a gourmet restaurant helmed by Michelin-star chef Pierre Gagnaire, as well as a new York style cocktail bar, the residence features all of the amenities associated with a high-end hotel.
Other notable facilities include a 1,000 square metre Guerlain spa, an indoor swimming pool, a 330 square metre ballroom and a sixth floor terrace for events up to 200 people.
Waldorf Astoria hotels are also set to open in Israel, the United Arab Emirates and China in 2013.
