Washington’s Hotel Zena to Celebrate Female Empowerment

Female empowerment continues to be a hot topic across the world and now the hospitality sector has shown its willingness to fight for the cause.

Hotel Zena in Washington DC, one of the newest additions to the city’s hospitality landscape, has been themed around the concept of women’s rights through is provocative art, design and programming.

Boasting 191 guest rooms, the boutique hotel is a veritable shrine to the accomplishments of women down the ages, including an eye-catching mural of American lawyer Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

Guests can also enjoy leisure time at salons and live music, plus a makeover by Seattle firm Dawson Design Associates that will inject the hotel with “rebellious and defiant yet playful energy”.

Located at the nexus of Downtown D.C. and Logan Circle, Washington, D.C.’s most desirable neighbourhood, the hotel’s surroundings are a hotspot for vibrant music venues, funky galleries, and trendy boutiques.

Hotel Zena is owned and operated by Viceroy Hotels & Resorts, which has high-end properties dotted across the globe.
