Water Taxi Service for Superyachts Launches in Ibiza

Launching in May, the Ibiza Delivers Offshore Service uses a hand-crafted custom-made boat 1005 RIB manufactured by renowned British boat builders Hunton. Finished in teak decking and light grey upholstery throughout, it is billed as setting the benchmark for travelling in style in the island’s Mediterranean waters.

Catering for Superyacht clients, the tender has also been designed with a 400L fridge locker which will enable fresh produce, in temperature controlled conditions, to be delivered from warehouse to the superyacht.

To create a first-class experience, guests will be greeted by the Ibiza Delivers Offshore crew and provided with a chilled face towel and a complimentary bottle of water prior to departure. Guests will then be offered a drink from the on-board bar service, before setting off to their desired destination.

Ibiza Delivers co-founder, David Max, says: “Two thirds of Superyachts visiting Ibiza moor offshore, so this service will really help them to operate the yacht more efficiently and better service the guests’ needs, as opposed to using their tenders to collect provisions from the marina or an island jetty.

“It’s been a dream of ours for quite some time so it’s fantastic to see the vision become a reality.”

The tender can also be chartered by Superyachts as a support vessel when they are hosting a number of guests, or to assist with crew services such as collection and drop-off of laundry.
