World Cup 2010 Montblanc Skeleton A380 Pen
With the World Cup 2010 drawing closer by the day, Montblanc has unveiled a special, limited edition fountain pen: The Skeleton A380. The pen is inspired by the A 380 aircraft, which carried Germany’s national football team to the South Africa World Cup.
After revealing the high-quality and cutting edge botanical Personal Coded Ink, Montblanc has introduced the Skeleton A380, made from 750 solid white gold with platinum-plated fittings.
The Skeleton A380 has been developed in a collaboration between Hamburg based companies, Montblanc and Airbus.
The pen has dark blue windows to respresent the windows on the aircraft. It also features fifteen high-quality diamonds on the cap's ring and twelve diamonds on the cone and cap top.
The Skeleton A380 will be limited to only 380 pieces and will be available in selected Montblanc Boutiques and in Montblanc Boutiques at airports served by the A 380 aircraft.
