World’s First Guitar Shaped Hotel Opens in Florida

By Paul Joseph

Florida has always had a reputation for outlandish innovation and now the beautiful US state has become home to a quirky hotel shaped like a guitar.

The Hard Rock group of hotels is expanding its portfolio with the new Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, which will be turning heads with its eye-catching contours that bear a distinctive resemblance to a guitar.

The 35 storey hotel is set to open its doors to the public later this year. It promises to boast several lavish features including a giant water fountain display and colossal 4,000 square foot suites.

Other notable amenities will include a glistening pool, a 13-acre beach club dotted with restaurants and VIP pools, private cabanas and water sport activities.

There will also be a vast casino complete with 3,000 slot machines, 193 table games, and a 46 table poker room.

Acclaimed band Maroon 5 will be gracing the opening of the hotel in October, and room bookings commence from late July.

It is not the only unusual hotel to be announced in recent times. A new luxury resort hotel with a unique design and décor that makes it resemble a honeycomb is currently been built in the Chinese city of Nanjing.
