Zenith Launch Pilot Type 20 Hommage á Louis Blériot Timepiece

Swiss watch brand Zenith have created an eye-catching new timepiece featuring the remains of an asteroid discovered in northern Scandinavia in 1906.

Called the Pilot Type 20 Hommage á Louis Blériot, the watch sports a 60mm sapphire case and boasts an 18-karat white gold bezel, crown and lugs and a 47mm AR-coated sapphire crystal crown.

The watch’s Swiss manual-wind Zenith in-house movement uses 19 jewels, 18,000 vph and boasts of a power reserve of 48 hours.

Other notable features include a dial with Arabic numerals and SuperLuminova coating, a black alligator leather strap and an 18-karat white gold pin buckle. The watch is water resistant to 30 metres.

Founded by Georges Favre-Jacot in Le Locle, Switzerland in 1865, Zenith has grown to become one of the world’s most famous luxury watch makers.
