Crafted to mark Cohiba’s 50th anniversary, the limited edition El Primero chronograph features a Havana brown dial, accented by strips of yellow and black, the colours of the cigar maker’s branding.
Logos for Zenith and Cohiba punctuate the strips at the top of the dial, uniting the two market leaders in a display of smart sophistication.
The 42mm case comes in both stainless steel and 18-karat rose gold and features an artful engraving of Cohiba's 50th anniversary logo on the back.
Aldo Magada, Zenith CEO, says: “At Zenith we are proud and happy to be partnering with Cohiba, which is not only the best Habanos brand, but also represents the same relentless quest for product excellence that we have been pursuing for more than 150 years.
“The priority for both companies is to enhance the customer experience, thanks to the unique craftsmanship of our artisans. We are convinced that the limited series Zenith is offering will please connoisseurs of both worlds.”
Cuban Cohiba was established in 1966 as a limited production private brand supplied exclusively to Fidel Castro and high-level officials in the Cuban government.
Founded by Georges Favre-Jacot in Le Locle, Switzerland in 1865, Zenith has grown to become one of the world’s most famous luxury watch makers.
