Something special happened when Fabio Perini, a leading influence in the design and construction of mega sailing yachts, created Gitana, a one of the kind yacht for his personal use. From her fully computerized sail controls, to her almost 40 foot long teak cockpit with wraparound views, to the advanced technology of the monitoring and entertainment systems, Gitana has set the world standard for innovation in sailing yachts.
The interior design by the renowned Guido de Groot, gives an innovative approach to style and comfort.Fabrics and furnishings by Ralph Lauren in warm color themes add a modern and contemporary approach to an easy-going atmosphere.
Accommodation
She accommodates up to 9 guests in 3 cabins.
The full beam master cabin has a queen size bed, sofa, 32'' flat screen TV with DVD/CD full home cinema system and 'his' and 'hers' separate ensuite facilities.
The VIP cabin has a double bed, a pullman berth, sofa, 20'' flat screen TV and ensuite facilities.
The Guest cabin has a double bed, a single bed, a pullman berth, 20'' flat screen TV with X-box games system and ensuite facilities.
The salon can convert to a cinema area with the retracting projector screen with a full home cinema system (38'' Flat screen TV , 100'' retractable projector screen with full home cinema system, karaoke & CD/iPOD stereo surround system). The dining table comfortably seats up to nine guests. Gourmet meals will be served with fine chinaware for formal diners made to satisfy even the most demanding appetites. Adjacent to the salon and dining area is also the day WC.
The two sun lounge areas in the bow and aft of Gitana, allow for seclusion and privacy or sunbathing with company, depending on one's desires. One thing is for sure; the view from either is breathtaking. The retractable hydraulic swimming platform gives an easy access to and from sea or to board the Castoldi jet tender for a quick ride to shore.
The outer deck spaces provide ample room for breakfast under the shade of the large bimini, BBQ diners or a sip of tea for a quiet view of the sunset on the outer salon. There is also a 42'' flat screen TV with home cinema system & karaoke that raises and declines from a wooden cabinet opposite the outer salon and CD/iPOD stereo surround system.
Gitana can be transformed from an absolute sailing experience, to a relaxing sunbathing hotspot, to ambient evenings and nights entertaining guests.
