Moonbeam of Fife, despite being over 100 years old, is one of the most beautiful historic sailing yachts of its kind.
This classic sailboat was designed by one of the world’s finest yacht designers and maritime engineers – the Scot, William Fife III. Fife was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire and was also inducted into the America’s Cup Hall of Fame.
Surely, one of his most impressive ships is the 30-metre Moonbeam of Fife that was launched in 1903 and has been located in Saint Tropez since 1989.
No other place in the Mediterranean Sea reflects Moonbeam of Fife’s characteristics like Saint Tropez. Luxurious elegance and the Mediterranean way of enjoying life’s pleasures – paired with maritime roots and ambitious sportsmanship.
In 2005 Moonbeam Fife underwent a nine-month refit through the renowned Fairlie Restorations in England. Afterward, Moonbeam Fife returned to her homeport newer and more beautiful than ever.
Since then the historic racing yacht has called the international Mediterranean regattas home, always coming in amongst the top places.
At the beginning of 2016 a businessman from Hamburg and passionate sailor became the new owner of Moonbeam of Fife. The unique legend sails under the French flag.
