Victoria Del Mar is a 50 metre motor yacht which was built and launched in 2006 by the Delta Marine Shipyard. She features naval architecture, exterior design and interior styling by the in-house Delta Design Group. Victoria Del Mar also underwent a full refit in 2013 meaning she has been fully modernised and is in pristine condition.
The newly re-christened 164-foot Delta Victoria del Mar has an extreme beam of nearly 34 feet and a total of 7,500 square feet of living area. The interior of Victoria Del Mar combines upscale elegance and comfort. The owners worked closely with Claudette Bonville Associates to create their vision and change the feel of the yacht's interior and exterior to a contemporary, crisp, tailored design.
By using some key Alberto Pinto pieces to set the tone of the style, the interior combines clean lines and a minimalistic feel. The yacht also hosts a stunning collection of original art from Joan Miro, Andy Warhol and Elsworth Kelly. When stepping onto the air-conditioned aft main deck, guests are surrounded by leather settees and a comfortable conversation area to enjoy a refreshment or cocktail and start their experience on Victoria del Mar.
Entering the interior through the main aft deck, the volume and space is evident. The warmth of the décor is enhanced by various exotic woods, petrified wood counter tops, leather wrapped cabinets, soft leather wall panels and maple wood floors. These design elements coordinate with the silk striped area rugs, crisp linen fabrics, leather upholstered sofas and armchairs.
The main dining room is part of the open main deck living area, and a large glass dining table comfortably seats 12. The dining table is accented by a blown glass chandelier that measures more than 8-feet in length.
The fresh, crisp look is continued forward to the VIP staterooms, which include generous with 8-foot ceilings, skylights above the bed, walk-in dressing rooms and large bathrooms with full size showers. All bathrooms onboard feature iridescent tiles and beautiful custom slump glass counter tops and bowl-shaped sinks. Within the lower deck guest staterooms, the attention to detail continues with embroidered Italian linens, leather paneling and opulent carpets. Guests will know only the finest materials have been used to enhance their stay and that they are welcome them to luxuriate in the private haven surrounding them.
The gym, featuring an elliptical machine, free weights, full length mirrors and floor space for yoga and stretching, is located on the main deck. It also converts to a massage/spa room. This combination is perfect for a morning workout and a soothing evening massage.
The unique main stairway of anagre and zebra woods with accents of glass and stainless steel grants guests access to all four decks. However, taking the elevator is also an option.
The upper deck boasts a newly laid mahogany floor from the wheelhouse to the upper foyer and owners skylounge. Large, artistically etched slump glass doors divide the wheelhouse and the starboard passerelle entryway from the owners’ skylounge. Guests are treated to unusual petrified wood bar tops and useful hidden plug-ins for their electronics. An oversized, comfortable sofa and polished bone-trimmed chairs create a space where families and friends may sit and watch the large screen TV, enjoy some refreshments from the bar or play a game of cards at the game table. On each side of the skylounge is a private balcony out of the breeze where one can pass the time watching the sea, take a nap or read and reflect.
Aft through a set of double doors is the master stateroom. This suite features a large dressing area with closets and cabinets as well as a mosaic-tiled ensuite bathroom with a jetted tub, large shower and private toilet room. A beautiful slump glass counter top with his and hers glass bowl double sinks complete the lavish bathroom. The master stateroom features the finest of Italian linen, cashmere blankets, sumptuous white silk carpets, leather wall panels, plush seating area and a full size desk. Sleek, hidden cabinets, and another full-height closet provides enough space for gowns, clothes and dozens of swimsuits.
The master stateroom opens onto a semi-private full-beam air-conditioned aft deck. On a beautiful day, however, the surrounding windows can be slid open or removed to let the breeze in. This area contains a wet bar, dining table for four to six guests and a comfortable seating area, upholstered in bright, contemporary fabrics. A glass-enclosed spiral staircase on the aft deck connects the upper three levels and gives direct access to the sundeck from the master suite, an area that is second to none on a vessel of this size.
Sleek, stainless steel and teak furniture upholstered in contemporary fabrics allow guests to lounge at ease, or they can enjoy the sun on a built in sun pad beside the large hot tub. When guests have had finished tanning, removable sunshade sails can be installed. The sun deck is also the perfect place for al fresco dining for as many as eighteen guests. The large bar, featuring a beautiful teak bar top, offers the perfect destination for sunset cocktails. Conveniently, the sun deck also features colorful, private, air-conditioned bathroom complete with shower. In the evening, the area can be converted to an outdoor cinema including a 100-inch screen, perfect for watching your favorite film under the stars.
