Garuda

Garuda was designed by Ron Holland. The vessels contemporary style (exterior and interior) was created by renowned designer Jon Bannenberg. The main salon offers abundant natural light courtesy of wraparound skylights. Further along the starboard side there is a linear galley. The 2014 -2017 refits included updates to the navigation equipment, and the interior, such as new carpets and upholstery, led ceiling lamps, three new TV’s in the cabins and salon, galley equipment, new heads, new sails in 2014, new outboard engine, bowthruster and propeller, safety equipment and liferaft, plus most systems serviced.

The aft deck of Garuda was predominantly designed to be the place for socializing with family and friends.

Sailing yacht Garuda has participated in a few regattas, in which she performed beautifully, with her previous owner. Garuda features a kevlar composite hull and superstructure with teak decks. She is powered by a sole 550hp Mercedes-Wizemann diesel engine, with a top speed of 13 knots. Additional updates from her 2008 refit included a complete refit of the engine room, new paintjob on hull and superstructure as well as the mast was laid and rig fully renewed.

Garuda has been maintained to the highest of standards by her previous owners and is in turnkey condition.

Garuda can comfortably accommodate up to six guests in three cabins, including one expansive owner’s cabin with a double bed, followed by two twin cabins. Garuda is also capable of accommodating three crew members on board in two cabins.
