QUARTA SANTA MARIA is a striking 25.40-metre sailing yacht that blends classic Italian craftsmanship with proven performance credentials and comfortable long-range cruising capability. Built by Cantieri Sangermani in Lavagna, she was conceived as an IMS maxi racer-cruiser, with naval architecture by the renowned Sparkman & Stephens and design by Lucio Micheletti & Partners. Her cold-moulded wooden construction, reinforced with carbon and Kevlar, gives her a distinctive combination of strength, lightness and traditional character.

Her profile is elegant and purposeful, complemented by a teak deck and generous exterior spaces designed for both sailing and relaxation. A spacious guest cockpit provides an inviting setting for alfresco dining, while the flush deck offers ample room for sunbathing and enjoying life at anchor. Her aluminium mast and boom, rod standing rigging and performance-oriented sail plan underline her pedigree as a yacht designed to deliver rewarding sailing as well as comfortable cruising.

Below deck, QUARTA SANTA MARIA offers a warm and welcoming interior finished in mahogany. Accommodation is arranged for up to 10 guests in five ensuite cabins, including a full-beam Owner’s stateroom aft, two queen-size guest cabins and two twin cabins forward. The main saloon provides comfortable seating and dining areas, while a well-equipped galley and dedicated crew accommodation for up to three support extended stays aboard.

A comprehensive refit programme has significantly updated the yacht’s systems, machinery and onboard comfort. Works have included upgrades to the deck and cockpits, standing rigging, steering, electrical and water systems, air conditioning, bathrooms, upholstery, portholes and machinery, helping preserve her classic appeal while improving practicality and reliability for modern use.

Auxiliary propulsion is provided by a 320 HP Caterpillar diesel engine driving a three-blade feathering propeller, supported by a 17 kW generator and VETUS bow thruster. She offers a cruising speed of approximately 10 knots, a maximum speed of around 11 knots and a reported range of approximately 1,500 nautical miles under power, giving her the flexibility required for extended cruising itineraries.

Further onboard equipment includes air conditioning throughout, a watermaker, modern navigation and communications systems, hydraulic anchoring equipment and a 4.60-metre semi-rigid tender with outboard power.

With her respected design pedigree, substantial recent upgrades, versatile accommodation and distinctive classic styling, QUARTA SANTA MARIA represents an appealing opportunity for an owner seeking a large performance sailing yacht with genuine character, strong cruising capability and proven pedigree.
