VITALIA II is a truly distinctive 36.80-metre performance cruising catamaran with an exceptional pedigree. Originally launched as the record-breaking racing catamaran ORANGE 2, she was designed by Gilles Ollier and built by Multiplast, before being extensively transformed into a fast and highly capable cruising yacht.
Her origins are evident in every aspect of her design. Built entirely in carbon composite, VITALIA II remains remarkably light for her size, while her 16.90-metre beam, twin daggerboards and powerful sail plan deliver the performance and efficiency expected from a yacht with genuine racing DNA. A 45-metre carbon wing mast, Park Avenue carbon boom, carbon beams and bowsprit, together with a complete North Sails wardrobe, underline her serious sailing credentials.
Her transformation into a cruising yacht was carried out by Multiplast and Groupe Carboman, with exterior design by Domicile Fixe / Stephane Lauro and interior design by Narrative / Daniel Domergue. The result is a yacht that retains the character and capability of an offshore racing machine while offering the comfort and usability required for extended private cruising.
The accommodation is arranged for up to six guests in three ensuite cabins, including an Owner’s cabin in the central pod and two additional double guest cabins in the hulls. The central living area brings together the saloon, dining space and galley, while expansive exterior areas provide multiple zones for relaxing, dining and enjoying life at anchor.
A wide teak-laid cockpit, large forward and aft trampolines and the yacht’s exceptional beam create an impressive amount of outdoor space. Separate crew accommodation for up to four helps preserve guest privacy and supports efficient operation during longer voyages.
Twin Volvo Penta D4-175 diesel engines provide reliable auxiliary propulsion, complemented by folding Gori propellers and a practical long-range cruising setup. Her lightweight construction and efficient platform make her particularly well suited to owners who want to cover serious distances without sacrificing the sensation and performance of a true sailing yacht.
