Sailing yacht Volador for Sale

Sailing yacht Volador is genuine blue water thoroughbred certain to bring many hours of happy cruising to the sailing connoisseur. Built in 1982 by Dutch shipyard Royal Huisman, she underwent an extensive refit in 2005 that sees her now in excellent condition. The 25m Volador sleeps 10 guests in five cabins.

The luxury vessel is sister ship to sailing yacht Flyer, the world famous winner of the 1981/82 Whitbread Round the World Race. Volador’s 2005 refit saw her undergo a total technical and cosmetic refit which saw her emerge with a practically all-new interior and a fully upgraded electronic equipment, deck hardware, safety equipment and sailing hydraulics.

With top speed sitting in the high-teens and a cruising speed of 10 knots, the sailing yacht is powered by a 260hp Diesel Mercedes-Benz engine. She is now available for sale from her location in Cogolin, in France’s south east. Volador is MCA compliant and well-suited to the charter market.
