Latest Lifestyle News: A 300mph Swedish Sensation

The battle between Koenigsegg and the Bugatti Veron for the title of the world’s fastest production car has been one of the automotive highlights of the past ten years.

Controversy continues to cast a shadow over which car can rightfully call itself the fastest, but in the meantime Swedish automakers Koenigsegg have attempted to edge ahead in the enduring dispute with the launch of the Koenigsegg Jesko.

A successor to the record-breaking Agera RS, the Jesko is claimed to be even faster and capable of hitting an eye-popping 300mph, thanks to a twin-turbo 5.0-litre V8 engine that produces up to 1,600 horsepower. You can read all about it in the lead story of today’s newsletter.
