Latest Lifestyle News: Introducing the Ultimate Hotel Accessory

In recent times we’ve reported on luxury hotels that have enlisted deep sea submersibles as a way of luring discerning, adventure-seeking guests. There are also numerous residences that offer boating adventures as part of their client services.

But one high-end resort in the Maldives has now taken luxury guest offerings to a whole new level by commissioning its very own yacht. Not quite a superyacht at 20.7-metre long, the vessel is nonetheless a sight to behold, and can be hired both for regional excursions and for airport transfers to and from the hotel. You can read more about it in today’s newsletter.

Elsewhere this week, we report on a rare Hermes Birkin bag that recently sold for an impresive $20,000 at a Christie’s auction, along with a prestigious Porsche event in the UK featuring notable models from the marquee’s rich history.

There’s also news on a yacht-inspired VIP Cabin concept by German airline Lufthansa, a beautiful new timepiece by Swiss watch brand Ulysse Nardin that’s been inspired by red hot magma, and a James Bond exhibition being hosted at the flagship London store of luxury British car makers Bentley.

Finally for this week, we profile the brand new BMW M8 Coupe, and take a look at a lavish writing instrument by Montegrappa that pays Tribute to the Apollo 11 moon landing.

That’s all for now. We hope you’ve enjoyed this week’s round-up of luxury news and trust that you’ll be back here same time same place next week for more. Until then, we bid you a warm goodbye!
