Latest Lifestyle News: Jaguars Roar at Blenheim

For the vast majority of the year, the beautiful country house of Blenheim Palace is a haven of tranquility, surrounded by idyllic British countryside. There are, however, a few exceptions, and one of them took place yesterday in the shape of the Summer Jaguar Festival.

Hosted by the Jaguar Enthusiasts’ Club, visitors were presented with the largest gathering of Jaguars from Film and TV ever seen, including a full range of vehicles from James Bond films, cult classics such as the E-Type from the Italian Job and cars from TV dramas including the Mark 1 saloon from the hit series Endeavour. You can read a full review of the event in today’s newsletter.

Elsewhere this week, we report on the Marriot hotel brand’s plans to launch a luxury vacation rental project, along with Audi commemorating the 10th anniversary of the V10 engine in unique fashion with a dramatic video release.

There’s also news on a brand new private island resort by Waldorf Astoria in the Maldives, the Jaguar F-Type winning the Performance Car of the Year award, and what is said to be the world’s most expensive resort.

Finally for this week, we preview an innovative waterproof sports drone that can fly, float and swim, and take a look back at a recent RM Sotheby’s car auction that yielded an impressive $11.7 million.

That’s all for now. Be sure to check in with us again next week for more news from the worlds of luxury and lifestyle. Until then, have a great week.
