Latest Lifestyle News: The Ultimate Luxury Platform Fetches its own Price

Over the years Sotheby’s have carved out a reputation as one of the biggest names in auctioneering, with a huge number of world record sale having taken place at their events held across the globe.

But now Sotheby’ are in the news for an altogether different reason after the action house was itself sold for an eye-popping figure of $3.7 billion.

The buyer of Sotheby’s is French-Israeli entrepreneur Patrick Drahi, founder of Dutch-based telecom giant Altice, who has decide to add the auction house to his already impressive portfolio. You can read more about this sale in the lead story of today’s newsletter.
