Debuting at this year’s BaselWorld watch fair in Switzerland last March was a striking new timepiece from Swiss luxury watchmakers Patek Philippe.

Boasting a total of 1,937 diamonds and sapphires, set across the dial, case, bracelet and clasp, the Aquatic Life watch comes arranged in an 18-karat white gold case and bracelet in a distinctive fan-shaped pattern.

All of the watch’s diamonds are Top Wesselton (G and H color) flawless baguette and brilliant cut, and have been cut to a shape corresponding to their precise location. Indeed, the baguette diamonds on the upper side of the bracelet and on the dial are invisibly set.

Other notable features include a manual mechanical calibre 16-250 movement and a minimum power reserve of 38 hours

Founded in Geneva, Switzerland in 1851, Patek Philippe has grown to become one of the world’s most recognised watch brands.
