The Ritz Paris, one of Europe’s most prestigious and history-laden hotels, is to reopen later this year following three years of renovations.

The property is set to officially reopen at the end of the year, giving the first bookings to its preferred guests before opening rooms to the general public.

As part of the most significant renovation in its 117-year history, the hotel revamped its guests rooms, suites, restaurants, bars and leisure areas, the Ritz Escoffier cooking school and its gardens.

Meanwhile its fine-dining restaurant L’Espadon, will welcome Michelin-starred chef Nicolas Sale, replacing executive chef Michel Roth.

Furthermore, French fashion house Chanel is continuing its long-standing association with the hotel through an in-house spa. For more than 30 years, Gabrielle “CoCo” Chanel called the Ritz Paris home, living in one of its suites until her death in 1971.

The “Chanel au Ritz Paris” will offer guests and spa enthusiasts a beauty destination dedicated to the brand’s skincare offerings.

Travelers can now book rooms at the newly renovated Ritz Paris for dates starting next year.
