Notes From The Editor

Week Commencing 10 November 2014

Last week were at the Saatchi Gallery in west London to check out the latest designs and creations from the luxury watch world.

The occasion was the sixth edition of Salon QP, which was founded six years ago and has quickly become a must-visit event om the luxury calendar for watch enthusiasts and industry experts alike.

Whilst there we sat down with James Gurney, founder of the Salon QP watch fair, to hear his thoughts on this year’s event and learn about the direction he believes the luxury watch world is heading. Check out our full interview in today’s newsletter.

Elsewhere, this week, there’s also an exclusive interview with Astrioan-born chef Wolfgang Puck who has been at the top of his game for three decades and shows no sign of slowing down. We talked to him at his acclaimed CUT restaurant in London to hear about his grand plans for the coming years.

There’s also reports on a new special edition Porsche Panamera set to be unveiled at the upcoming Los Angeles motor show, a Japanese whisky that has caused shock waves by being named the best whisky in the world, and details of the new Baccarat hotel in New York.

We also bring you news of two exceptional watch launches, the first by innovative manufacturer MB&F complete with exclusive video and another by compatriot Swiss brand Richard Mille, plus a report on a new hotel opening in Miami just in time for the Art Basel Miami contemporary at fair.

Enjoy our newsletter and have a great week.
