Today’s newsletter features a number of exclusive interviews conducted by at the recent Monaco Yacht Show as part of our role as the event’s Official Breaking News Centre.

Now in its 25th year, the show was the biggest and best yet and was attended not only by the main players from the superyacht world but also key individuals from across the entire luxury industry.

Headlining our newsletter is an interview with Patrik Hoffmann, CEO of legendary Swiss watch brand Ulysse Nardin. The main sponsor of the Monaco Yacht Show for the past seven years, Ulysse Nardin’s relationship with luxury yachting is long-standing. During his interviews, Mr Hofmann talked about the brand’s fruitful relationship as well as their latest collaboration in the America’s Cup.

Other interviewees to step into our studio on the docks of Monaco’s Port Hercule were Shannon Benoist of French winemaker Chateau d’Esclans; Daniela Riccardi, CEO of crystal experts Baccarat; and Anthony Stuart, Director of Europe at the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism.

There’s also one final interview with Carlo Traglio, President of Italian jewellery house Vhernier, conducted at the recent Perini Navi Cup in Sardinia.

Elsewhere this week, there’s reports on German car brand’s foray into luxury residential design with their creation of a range of high-end apartments in London, an ultra-innovative car that can traverse the seas, and an exciting new watch launch from Swiss brand IWC.
