Ruggedly raw coastlines give way to stunning cities and scenic wilderness in this dramatic region.   view

Elliott Bay marina is the largest privately owned marina on the West Coast of America and one of the largest in the USA. Located only a mile north of downtown Seattle the marina prides itself on offering country club amenities and services for both permanent and guest moorage patrons in a secure and quiet setting.

Opened in 1991 the marina offers berthing space for up to 1,200 yachts ranging in size from 32 to 63 feet with 52% of the boats between 36 and 50 feet LOA. The boat types are evenly split between sailboats and powerboats, which reflects the great sailing conditions on Puget Sound. Forty boats are permanently moored liveaboards and another 60 docks must remain available for transient boaters as per an agreement with the city.

From day one Elliott Bay Marina was built to exceed environmental standards for habitat creation, pollution control and water circulation. However, despite this emphasis the Elliott Bay marina owners have always been keen not to compromise on the unparalleled customer service they offer. With a large permanent staff count throughout the year the marina offers fulltime security, fuel, water, dockside and fuel dock pump-out as well as a first class marina clubhouse and three restaurants.

With striking views of Mt Rainier and the Seattle skyline across Puget Sound’s busiest port the marina is one of the most welcoming and comprehensive one will find and little surprise that many call it home. It is an ideal place for viewing the New Year fireworks, enjoying the Downtown Sailing Series in the summer or simply to enjoy a fantastic meal at Maggies or Palisade any time of the year.
