Horta´s marina is the main harbour of the Azores and the fourth most visited marina in the world. Located in an archipelago of outstanding natural beauty the Marina offers an excellent shelter against the winds from any direction and is ideally located – and suitable for – all yachts en route from the Caribbean to the Mediterranean.

Due to its ideal location, Horta Marina boasts a strong sailing pedigree that it continues to develop by hosting many international regattas such as Les Sables - Les Azores - Les Sables, Vannes – Les Açores – Vannes, Portsmouth – Horta, Route des Hortensia, ARC Europe and many others.

Horta Marina is a small town filled with sailor spirit and sea legends that takes pride in it’s maritime traditions. No where is this more evident than on the very harbour walls where, for years, visiting mariners have been painting and drawing. The tradition lends the marina a very welcoming and vibrant atmosphere and turns it into a brightly-coloured talismán for the yachting community. Furthermore, Horta Marina is a Blue Flag marina since 1987 and as such prides itself on its immaculate environmental qualifications.
