Mykonos by Day

    Explore Mykonos By Day...

For a day spent ashore, these are the places to be pampered, the sights to see, the shopping districts to delve into, the activities to indulge in, and the gourmet treats to discover.

    Cavota Goo
Cavota Goo is home to an amazing spa and fitness centre; specifically placed to face the light of the sun, it fuses the latest in international spa advancements with traditional Greek techniques. Designed to enhance health and beauty, the Spa offers a variety of services, treatments and products.

Spectacular beaches are one of Mykonos’ main draws and several golden stretches can be found scattered across the island. Quiet and picturesque is the little beach of Agios Sostis, while for families Platis Gialos is highly favourable. Psarou is close to the main town and attracts the island’s jet-set to its Riviera-style lounging, while Panormos in the north is much quieter.

    Seaside Partying
Most famous of all are Paradise and Super Paradise, home to blaring music and beach sports, they are best avoided if you enjoy a quiet spot to sunbathe or swim away from partying youths.

If heading to Mykonos in June, the European Freestyle Windsurfing Championships are held from the 16th to the 18th, when 40 professional windsurfers descend on Paradise Beach. Or if you enjoy the odd bit of windsurfing yourself, the beaches at Fetelia and Kalafatis have steady sea breezes.

For a truly rustic and authentic Greek island experience, the much-loved Kiki’s is unbeatable. Ridiculously laid-back, this restaurant is located on the road to Panoromos Bay and serves only lunch; a combination of salads, grilled entrées and chilled wines.

    Matsuhisa Mykonos
The Belvedere Hotel houses Matsuhisa Mykonos; the exquisite open-air sushi restaurant of extraordinary chef Nobu Matsuhisa. Situated right by the hotel’s pool, the restaurant uses top quality ingredients flown in daily from Japan.
