38m Explorer

The Expedition vessel is a type of yacht that is more and more estimated by a wider kind of owners, appreciating the specific characteristic of the kind: large space on the aft main deck to host big tenders and possible exploring toys, as 4WD or amphibian cars, flying toys, etc.; long range endurance; high and efficient seaworthiness.

Nauta Yachts already recently proposed a superb 58 m three-deck Expedition vessel, defined by the typical lines of the brand – large vertical windows, elegant and balanced volumes and superstructure, timeless and sober design – and by the semi wide body solution.

This time Nauta Yachts is proposing a smaller Expedition vessel, compacted in 38 m, but still counting all the main characteristics of the kind. This two-deck 38 m actually offers a stunning 95 sq. m aft main deck space to contain a 10 m tender. In the extreme bow there is space for the rescue boat, placed athwartship.

On the main deck enough space is remaining to place the salon, the dining room and the adjacent galley, and moreover the spacious owner’s apartment – extending on a good 30 sq. m. – occupying all the front part of the hull, widened in this area to full beam.

On the upper deck there is room for an “al fresco” dining room and inside for a panoramic salon with a spectacular 270° view. The captain’s cabin, like in a larger yacht, is just adjacent to the wheel house, that in this yacht has reversed windshield.
The sun deck is hosting large sunbathing and conversation areas, spread on 73 sq.mt. area.

On the lower deck two king size and two twin cabins for guests complete the hospitality, while for the crew are available two pullman cabins and a generous mess. On the lower deck are located also a cold room, a separate laundry and refrigerated waste room.

The engine room is amidships to obtain a transversal garage for a 6m tender, with a port side door. In the stern there is still room for a beach club and storage for all the diving equipment. Remember that the yacht LOA is only 38 m!
