455 PS Motoryacht
The 455 PS Fast Luxury Motoryacht is a semi-production superyacht featuring design by Tim Saunders Yacht Design. The 45.5 metre vessel has been designed as the “middle” model of a new range of high performance motor yachts.
The profile of the luxury yacht is styled with a “Prone Stance” which exudes grace, speed and elegance which is only enhanced by the wake produced when the yacht is planing at maximum speed.
Interior layout of the 455 PS sees lavish accommodations for 10 guests in five generous cabins. Although still in development, interior design is expected to follow a similar path to that originated for the 355 S which takes maximum advantage of the large glazing, allowing the dynamic exterior styling to be reflected in the interior furniture style and detailing.
A number of engine and propulsion options are available for powering the vessel from Waterjet and Arneson Drive to Conventional Propellers via V-Drive or shafts.
Estimated speeds see the motor yacht hit around 26 knots with twin MTU 16V 4000 engines. A Gas Turbine may be introduced (CODAG) elevating maximum speeds to around 40 knots, or a smaller engine option is also available providing a top speed of around 20 knots with greater range.
The 455 PS Fast Luxury Motoryacht features a planing hull and superstructure constructed of Aluminium (GRP) and is designed to be both RINA and MCA compliant.
