B+V 120 MY/X
B+V 120 MY/X is a 124.2m exploration yacht concept by Blohm + Voss. The B+V 120 MY/X has been laid out to combine the capability of worldwide cruising at a maximum possible comfort for the Owner and 16 Guests and above all enough space for a vast amount of exploration equipment.
Starting in the main entrance lobby, which is located in the “eye-shaped” feature on Main
Deck, a grand staircase and a lift lead to the Bridge Deck. Located on the aft part of the Bridge Deck is a lounge with seating areas that has impressive 180 degree views.
Th eOwner’s Deck has a very spacious duplex Owner’s suite that is connected via a private staircase to the Owner’s spaces on the Guests Deck. This enables the Owner to observe the view not only from the bedroom but also from the two bathrooms, one on each side, and from the gym located just behind the massage room.
A few steps down from the private owners' staircase is the Owner’s Saloon, overlooking the exterior deck with a direct access to the Jacuzzi in the bow area. There is also a spacious Owner’s office including a meeting area.
Guest accommodation includes eight cabins, with six cabins on Main Deck and two VIP duplex suites each with bedroom on Guests Deck and dressing room and bathroom one deck above.
Dining and lounge areas ar also located on the Guests Deck as well as balconies on each side and ample exterior spaces around the swimming pool.
Service areas and service corridors have been carefully planned in order to be completely separated from the Owner and Guest areas.
At water level a very spacious beach club distributed over two levels with access to bathing platforms provides a very unique setting for relaxing as well as entertaining.
The yacht has enormous storage capacities, there is space for tenders that range from 5,5m to 16m in length, a seaplane, an amphibian car and there is even space for an 8.50m submarine and two heilicopters.
The propulsion plant has been designed to achieve lowest noise and vibrations levels, highest manoeuvrability performance and maximum environmental friendliness by means of a diesel-electrical propulsion system powering 3 pod drives for a maximum speed of 18.5 knots.
