The assignment was to design a large motor yacht styled after the coasters that navigated between the shores of northern Europe in the 1960's.
An interesting decade, because after the launch of the nuclear powered cargo vessel Savannah in 1962, streamlined designs became in fashion in the commercial marine industry. Commercial vessels were designed with streamlined superstructures, combined with attractive hulls. Unfortunately, the client of this project changed his mind and cancelled the design. Instead he asked Werner to design a more conventional yacht instead.
