Requirements for the 90 footer had strict limitations regarding its maximum dimensions, yet it had to boost a very large interior volume. It was a good looking design, nevertheless Werner felt that it could be even better if only they had a little bit more length. With this concept they have allowed for an extra 10 ft. They have used this extra length primarily to stretch the hull, while they kept the superstructure virtually to the same length. Even though the 90 footer was a hansom design, the extra 10 ft. makes it even better.
