Sparkman and Stephens design number 2737, this 30.5 metre classic sloop was commissioned by an experienced yachtsman who had chartered another S&S, Tiziana, several times before ordering the sailing yacht to better suit his personal needs.
The luxury sloop has been designed to exude the style of a by-gone era with 30 metres of flush deck space, a classically-styled deckhouse, and large cockpit. Reflecting traditional Sparkman & Stephens style, the yacht will feature Dorade boxes and butterfly hatches to maximise natural ventilation.
Gliding along under 1,066-square metres of sails and boasting a boom-furled main halyard and 2:1 main sheet, sailing will be made simpler by the presence of under-deck captive reel winches.
The 31 metre concept will be constructed using cold-molded wood construction techniques and will showcase an interior finished in the Herreshoff style with bright work beneath the waist-line and finished above in white.
Below decks can be found a generous-sized salon with panoramic views and a navigation area forward. Aft are the guest accommodations including a full-beam Master, and two Guest cabins all with en suite facilities, while forward is an additional Guest cabin. Crew quarters are also located forward and house berths for six, a mess, and galley.
