Modern to the core, the Peri 29 embodies the advantages of E glass and epoxy resin construction. This composite material possesses outstanding properties of lightness, stiffness and strength, which translate into a vessel that delivers impressive speed for the power used, as well as great stability and ease of handling.
Peri describe the 29 as a “lifestyle statement”, for a new generation of youthful, design-literate owners. Scaro Design, the young Istanbul design group responsible for the yacht’s exterior and interior took full advantage of the freedom offered by the high-tech laminate. This can be seen in the 29’s swooping profile, laced with a hint of aggression. It also shows in the subtle curve of the bulwark, which gives the saloon an unobstructed view of the sea. The long, rectangular portholes are equally striking. They contribute an intriguing touch of secretiveness.
Given the 29’s sleek look, its voluminous living spaces come as an exciting shock. The high-tech materials lighten the entire structure and open up new space for luxury living. The increased volume is apparent everywhere. The teak-laid decks are broader, with more room to entertain or to sink into the huge sofas and sunbeds that are such a part of Peri’s chic, relaxed style. In particular, the 29 features an unusually generous flying bridge. This plays a role in the yacht’s aerodynamic lines, but also makes this privileged area more seductive than ever. As Peri say: “Space is the greatest luxury of all”.
Inside, as out, the Peri 29 offers the feeling of a much larger yacht. The saloon and dining area establish the clean, uncluttered style of decoration, which represents minimalism at its best. The theme continues on the accommodation deck, notable for its discreet use of precious materials and its unusual cantilevered ceilings. The owner’s cabin stands out by its full-beam width and glamorous en-suite wet room. However, the three guest cabins and also the crews’ quarters are more spacious than is standard for a yacht of this size. As to the galley, Peri is proud to point out that it designs the 29’s galley for the needs of a much larger vessel.
It remains to be said that the Peri 29 is as big on safety as it on size and comfort. The engine room is a model of its kind. Its equipment was selected from the most trusted high-end brands and is carefully laid out for convenient, efficient use and inspection.
