Polaris 48

The Polaris 48 belongs to the Polaris range by Cantieri di Pisa—a new generation of explorer yachts designed for extended voyages and superior onboard comfort. Ranging from 38 to 60 metres in length, each model in the series is characterised by robust steel construction, refined Italian design, and a flexible approach to customisation. The Polaris line marks a bold evolution in the shipyard’s legacy, combining technical reliability with timeless style.

The Polaris 48 is a 48-metre tri-deck motor yacht developed by Cantieri di Pisa, combining generous interior volumes with long-range cruising capability. Naval engineering is by Optima Design, while the exterior design bears the signature of Antonio Luxardo. Interiors have been developed by Studio Parisotto + Formenton.

Constructed with a full-displacement steel hull and an aluminium/composite superstructure, the Polaris 48 features a layout spread across three decks: lower, main, and bridge. Accommodation is provided for up to 12 guests in six guest cabins, while the crew quarters offer space for nine crew members across four crew cabins and a separate captain’s cabin.

Powered by twin MAN V12 engines of 1,450 hp each with shaft line transmission, the yacht cruises at 12 knots and reaches a top speed of 16 knots. At cruising speed, she offers extended autonomy thanks to her 60,000-litre fuel capacity, 12,000-litre freshwater tanks, and 498 GT of internal volume.
