Last week the Superyachts.com production team had the pleasure of visiting the shores of Antigua & Barbuda once again. This time, it was gather film and photography for some exciting projects which we hope to share with you very soon. In the meantime, back across the pond in London, our editorial team has been keeping up to date with all the latest news…

The week started on a high, with news from Holland that the beautiful Najiba had completed successful sea trials since her launch back in January from the Feadship yard. Alongside stunning new imagery, our writer Anna Solomon learnt about the adventures of the new 58m which you can read all about here.

More news from Holland later rolled in with an announcement from none-other than Amels, bringing the launch of a new 55m, aptly named, Nomad. Designed by Tim Heywood, the vessel was noted for its speedy delivery time which occurred just 5 months after its sale. You’ll find a video of the launch ceremony here.

But the past week wasn’t all just news from The Netherlands… With a new charter CA for 60m Arience and the announcement of a price drop on New Hampshire, it’s been a busy week too for brokers at Cecil Wright and Partners.

In fact, the past few days has brought many brokerage updates from all corners of the industry. Royal Yacht Brokers announced the impressive sale of the 67m Golden Shadow which was listed for sale with Fraser Yachts.

On a lighter note, this week’s Interior Insight from writer Jenna Mehdi explores the elegance and comfort of 80m Grand Ocean; an iconic 90s vessel by Blohm + Voss and lastly but by no means least, is our destination piece which takes an exciting look towards a summer of charters in the Med. Inspired by the filming location of T.V series Game of Thrones, Anna Solomon writes about Croatia; another one for the bucket list.
