The Cannes Yachting Festival, held annually every September since 1977 and has been a cornerstone event in the yachting industry. The upcoming 47th edition is set to surpass its predecessors, featuring an expanded exhibition space with a new marina and an impressive showcase of nearly 700 vessels, up from 650 boats in the previous year. This year's event will take place from the 10th to the 15th of September and runs from 10am-7pm on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, 10-am-10pm on Friday and 10am-8pm on Sunday.
The renowned event draws nearly 55,000 expected visitors annually: yacht builders, designers, and those who are fans from across the globe. There are many events and activities associated with the festival, including cocktail parties, yacht races, and seminars, making it a fantastic place to learn about the most recent trends and advances in the yachting sector.
The 2024 Cannes Yachting Festival will introduce an unprecedented exhibition space focusing exclusively on new motorboats. This area will showcase 140 vessels in the water, all measuring 8 meters or more, alongside 30 smaller boats (up to 8 meters) displayed on land. This marks a significant milestone for the festival, as it's the first time boats of this size will be presented in the water at the event.
Cannes Yachting Festival is held across the Vieux Port and Port Pierre Canto in Cannes, alongside the new in-watersection, in France. In addition to the yachts on display, there are also a variety of exhibitors showcasing products and services related to the yachting industry, such as engines, navigation equipment, and luxury accessories offering a great opportunity for several industries to network and collaborate.
