38.9m S/Y LADY M For Sale Following Exceptional Refit

By Emily Dawkins

Delivered in 2006 by New Zealand shipyard Fitzroy Yachts, LADY M represents the epitome of a sailing vessel. With a timelessly sleek exterior design by renowned naval architecture firm Dubois Yachts, and brand-new interiors from H2 Yacht Design, the 38.9m yacht boasts incredible sailing features alongside a luxurious and welcoming interior. Currently listed for sale with Cecil Wright & Partners, LADY M offers an unmissable opportunity on the brokerage market.

Undergoing a significant refit this year, 38.9m LADY M presents everything an owner could ever want, and need, from a sailing yacht.

Meticulously designed by Fitzroy and Dubois to be a racing cruiser, LADY M has proved to be quite successful since her delivery. Now, with new larger, carbon sails, she presents the perfect chance to be extremely competitive in nature, with her current owner currently making plans for racing in the esteemed St Barths Bucket Regatta.

Alongside new and advanced sailing systems, the past 12 months have seen a substantial investment from LADY M’s current owner to refresh and reinvigorate her as an incredible sailing yacht. As well as the completion of her Lloyd’s 5 year survey, LADY M’s engine was torn down to the cylinders, her rig was pulled and surveyed, and 60% of her teak was replaced. Her superstructure, bullwarks and transom were all repainted, with her jet black hull refreshed in 2020.

This all goes without mentioning the highlight of her refit: her impeccable new interiors. Designed by recognised London design studio H2 Yacht Design, LADY M’s restyled interiors harmoniously combine rich woods with neutral, contemporary colour tones to create a haven of serenity. Brand new furniture, soft furnishings, doors and lighting, that has been replaced to more environmentally-friendly LEDs, have transformed the vessel to offer the utmost luxury and comfort onboard. This level of luxuriously high standards is displayed throughout her four spacious cabins, where she can accommodate 10 with ease.

Cecil Wright Partner and Sales Broker, Henry Smith, shared with us an insight into what makes LADY M a stand-out vessel. ‘In her size range she’s one of the few pedigree yachts that has a four cabin layout and sleeps ten. Her replacement cost today at an equivalent yard would be roughly €25 million. Really, she was before her time: she has very large windows for the cabins and main saloon which are of an equivalent size to a modern boat.’

Currently located on the picturesque coastline of Imperia, Italy, LADY M has the means to traverse the world, soon expected to be seen in the lush crusing grounds of the Caribbean and later in Antigua at the beginning of December. Despite her current brokerage status, LADY M is in fact charter coded, offering exemplary prospects as a charter vessel after her sale.

‘LADY M represents a unique opportunity in the market because there is nothing else out there that has been refitted to this extent that’s available for sale,' added the Partner and Sales Broker, 'there are other yachts on the market, of course, but nothing comes close to her in terms of pedigree and current condition: she is totally turn-key.’

Not only a significant addition to the brokerage market, LADY M also highlights the impressive fleet of yachts available with the Boutique Brokerage House Cecil Wright. ‘She [LADY M] is a pedigree sailing yacht and we deal with pedigree brands exclusively at Cecil Wright, so she really fits neatly into our profile', commented Smith.

LADY M is currently listed for sale for €11,450,000. To find out more about this incredible sailing yacht, contact Henry Smith and the rest of the team at Cecil Wright today.
