52m Florentia Launched by Rossinavi

Italian shipyard Rossinavi has swiftly followed the launch of 50m EIV at the start of the month by launching 52m motor yacht Florentia. The elegant custom project was presented during a private ceremony at the Rossinavi facility in Pisa.

Florentia is an 800GT superyacht featuring a steel full-displacement hull and aluminium superstructure.  The custom design for the exterior profile has been penned by Rome-based Studio Vafiadis, while the Made in Italy feel is further enhanced by Carlo Colombo and A++ Design Studio’s interior styling.

Federico Rossi, Chief Operating Officer of Rossinavi, expressed his admiration for the work of both Vafiadis and Colombo. “A yacht characterised by romantic lines for a timeless elegance that features refined interiors and generous spaces,” said Rossi. “Florentia is a vessel in which functionality and efficiency are a testament to style.”

Both design studios echoed Rossi’s sentiments as they reflected on the launch of this magnificent superyacht, and on delivering a project in line with the specific requirements of the owner. “Florentia is the most representative example of a fully bespoke superyacht made in Italy,” commented Stefano Vafiadis of Studio Vafiadis. “This is a boat entirely designed and built around the owner and his needs. We’ve been challenged with the difficult brief to create a timeless gem where classic features and shapes meet modern details,” Vafiadis added.

Carlo Colombo explains the sources of his inspiration for Florentia’s interior design, which beautifully complements the graceful exterior lines. “Florentia’s interior design is inspired by the shapes of nature and ocean waves combines with technology and continuous research of design functionality,” explained Colombo. “The soft lines of the boat’s architecture style pervade the space complementing neutral colours and precious materials contributing to a unique and refined yacht for a peaceful and relaxing experience.”

For the 12 guests that can be comfortably accommodated onboard Florentia, the superyacht offers generous volume filled with sumptuous amenities. The main staircase originating from the main deck is the profound central feature of the yacht, fitting perfectly with the blend of warm colours, leathers and light wood that decorate the interior. Large, opulent spaces can be found both in the main salon and the dining room, divided only by a structural bespoke cabinet. The main living area at the stern features structural sofas that extend to the centre of the yacht, while the dining table is found at bow.

The owner’s luxurious cabin benefits from a private balcony as well as two walk-in wardrobes. Above the bed, a ring-shaped mirror artwork reflects the light coming in from the sea in all directions. On the upper deck, a large entertainment area is complete with a ceiling projector that turns the area into a private cinema. The fly deck lobby provides access to the VIP suite, which like the owner’s cabin boasts a private balcony while also having access to the outdoor jacuzzi at stern.

Florentia is not only an exquisite masterpiece of Italian design and craftsmanship, she is a superyacht ready to entertain whether under the sun or in her elegant interiors. For Rossinavi, she marks a second delivery of the month and a sign of the shipyard’s prosperity.
