58m KOKOMO Sold by Cecil Wright and Welcomed to Charter Fleet

By Frances Flannagan

Ending 2023 on a high, Cecil Wright announced the off market sale of Alloy Yachts’ 58m KOKOMO. She has since joined the brokerage’s charter fleet and is currently the largest sloop sailing yacht on the charter market. Chris Cecil-Wright represented both parties in the sale of this stunning vessel that features impeccable performance capabilities alongside a sleek and stylish design.

At the end of December, Cecil Wright announced the off market sale of award-winning 58m sailing yacht KOKOMO, a deal which was led by Chris Cecil-Wright who represented both the buyer and the seller. Today, the brokerage has announced that she has now joined its charter fleet.

KOKOMO was built in 2010 by Alloy Yachts, a New Zealand-based high-performance sailing yacht shipyard. She has a sleek and sophisticated profile and modern and elegant interiors penned by Redman Whiteley Dixon. Her interior design is characterised by neutral warm tones, contrasting the soft furnishings. By day or by night, KOKOMO offers an opulent, yet relaxed, glamour.

She features a plethora of state-of-the-art amenities, delivering the optimum combination of both luxury and leisure facilities onboard, making her an active and authentic charter vessel. KOKOMO has an on deck jacuzzi, ample relaxation spaces as well as air conditioning to allow for comfort in all climates.

Charter groups of all ages are accommodated for on board KOKOMO, particularly suitable for families due to her child-friendly setup. She sleeps up to 10 guests across a master suite, a VIP cabin, a double cabin and two twin cabins, with a crew of 10 ensuring a relaxed and attentive luxury yacht charter experience.

Her beautiful design does not compromise her performance capabilities: she is the largest sloop sailing yacht on the charter market and one of the best performing charter sailing vessels.

KOKOMO has an exceptional collection of water equipment, from scuba diving equipment to towable toys, meaning that all charter guests can enjoy life on the water to the fullest. A 6.1m tender and a lifting keel allow access and mooring for exploring, alfresco dining on deck and a beach setup on land.

She has the largest asymmetric sail in the world and is the second largest Alloy vessel ever delivered, boasting a 75m carbon fibre mast by Southern Spars. KOKOMO is a ground-breaking and unforgettable yacht: the perfect charter sailing vessel.

KOKOMO is now available for booking for March 2024 Caribbean charters and the summer Mediterranean season, with current rates of 260,000 EUR a week in high season and 240,000 EUR a week in low season.
