72m Tankoa M/Y 'SOLO' Sold
Italian shipyard Tankoa Yachts has announced that 72-metre superyacht SOLO is officially off the market after being sold in an in-house deal at Edmiston.
Solo is a semi-custom, eco-friendly motor yacht launched in 2018 by Tankoa Yachts. Designed by Francesco Paszkowski, this steel, 1,600 GT yacht measures 72 metres in length, with a max draft of 3.4 feet and a beam of 11.6 feet.
She has been technically and cosmetically upgraded at Amico shipyard extensively throughout 2021 to 2022 by her previous owner, undergoing major changes to paintwork and renewing her five-year class survey.
Her unique interiors were brought to life by Margherita Casprin, conjuring a true 'Made in Italy' feel. Solo can accommodate up to 12 guests in six cabins, as well 18 crew members in separate crew quarters. Her master suite boasts a private terrace, sitting in situ with a VIP suite, two double cabins and two twin cabins, all of which include entertainment centres, television screens and en suite bathrooms.
Key features include a touch-and-go helipad that can transform into a dancefloor, a 7-metre main deck infinity pool with access to a vast swim platform below, and a secluded jacuzzi. Guests can unwind during the evening in a spacious sky lounge and piano bar, complimented by a stunning, tropical aquarium in the main dining room.
An effortless indoor-outdoor configuration connects all of her main social areas, allowing guests to move seamlessly between decks via a stylish elevator. Her beach club also boasts a glass-walled gym, a sauna, hammam spa and wellness centre, ideal for relaxation and rejuvenation.
Solo has a top speed of 17.5 knots, and a cruising range of 6,000 nautical miles at 12.5 knots, powered by two 2,480hp Caterpillar 3516-B diesel engines, with Naiad zero speed stabilisers.
"Her previous owner requested a décor that is modern, elegant and warm. Both the GA and décor are the result of a collaborative effort by Francesco Paszkowski and Margherita Casprini."
