89m HERE COMES THE SUN: Sold by Burgess and Fraser

By Frances Flannagan

Amels' 89m HERE COMES THE SUN has been sold in a deal with Fraser and Burgess. Antoine Larriq of Fraser introduced the buyer and Stuart Larsen of Fraser and Tim Vickers of Burgess represented the seller.

Delivered in 2017, HERE COMES THE SUN was already an iconic superyacht; however, after an extensive refit in 2021 where she had a 6m extension, she has become an even more notable vessel. She is the pinnacle of luxury yacht design, containing all must-haves on a superyacht features list, with exteriors by Tim Heywood, and interiors penned by Winch Design.

She can accommodate up to 20 guests across ten staterooms, with a dedicated owner’s deck alongside two bridge deck VIP suites with private balconies. Four of the seven guest staterooms can be connected to form two suites, highlighting her versatility.

She is the ideal yacht for relaxation, with a beautiful sea-level beach club with sea terraces either side and a wellness centre on the lower deck, which includes a steam room, massage room, and beauty salon: the ultimate luxurious escape.

She has been described as being ‘people oriented’, highlighted by her spacious design offering opportunities for alfresco living, sunbathing areas and entertainment spaces, showing her to be just as sociable as she is relaxing. Alongside a 7m pool, cinema and two helipads as other notable features, HERE COMES THE SUN is shown to be highly impressive as well as wonderfully livable.

This is a significant sale for Burgess and Fraser; HERE COMES THE SUN is a flagship vessel for Amels, sold for $195,000,000, showcasing the Brokerages’ excellent working relationships.

"The quantity of work that’s been covered is immense. So to achieve it in a year is a real credit to Amels."
