A Forward-Thinking Approach to Future Yachting: The Vatoz

By Frances Flannagan

Joining together in remarkable collaboration, builder Enata and superyacht designer Timur Bozca have created a groundbreaking 10m foiler, the Vatoz. Despite its small size, the Vatoz offers a host of features and the lavishness of a superyacht.

The Vatoz promises a premium yachting experience, with distinctive painted windows contributing to its aesthetic appeal and offering a sense of seclusion and comfort. Dynamic wing-like structures on both sides set the design apart, designed to facilitate easier access to the bow and to create additional storage space, as well as enhancing the yacht’s agility. Aesthetics and functionality are the crux of its design, with exterior styling inspired by the fluid form of the stingray whilst meticulously constructed from lightweight carbon fibre.

The attention to detail within the design is spectacular, an immersive experience generated as the ignition of the engine results in ambient lighting coursing through the vessel. There are four dynamic sports seats, providing both comfort and adaptability, as they can pivot towards each other to transform the space into a social area. Seamlessly integrated into the Vatoz’s structure are technological wonders, including audio speakers, climate control systems and ample storage options.

The interiors encapsulate the fusion of aesthetics and functionality that is threaded throughout each aspect of this design, as it captivates the eye as well as having the ability to be transformed into a versatile space. It is a stylish design, making it a haven of luxury and sophistication as each detail has been crafted to enhance the overall onboard experience. The infusion of natural light not only offers the sensation of spaciousness, but also connects passengers to the surrounding environment.

Using Enata’s efficient foiler technology, the Vatoz is able to fly 1.5m above the water and proprietary sophisticated Wingman management system. In foiling mode, the maximum speed is 40 knots.

In terms of fuel consumption wake and noise, the Vatoz has minimal impact on the environment. The smart design is truly a masterpiece of innovation, extending from the exterior to the interior, each element acting as an integral part of the whole: a forward-thinking approach to future yachting.
