A Modern Feadship Icon: MOONRISE Offered for Sale

By Nora Hart

Few yachts have defined Feadship’s modern era quite like MOONRISE, and the 2020-built superyacht has now been listed for sale for the first time since her delivery. Offered by Henry Craven Smith of Burgess, the 99.95-metre yacht is currently lying in the Caribbean.

From the moment she was launched, MOONRISE stood apart. At the time, she was the largest superyacht ever built in the Netherlands by waterline length, and her silhouette remains instantly recognisable. Long, continuous hull windows, a striking grey finish and a powerful vertical bow give the yacht a confident, nouvelle presence that balances elegance with authority.

Built at Feadship’s De Vries Makkum facility, with design by Studio De Voogt and interiors by Rémi Tessier, MOONRISE was conceived as much around comfort as appearance. Her generous 15.5-metre beam delivers substantial interior volume, allowing accommodation for 16 guests across eight cabins, supported by a crew of 32. Large exterior decks, a beach club, wellness spaces and a helipad further reinforce her credentials as a true long-range world cruiser.

What truly distinguishes MOONRISE, however, is the attention paid to onboard serenity. Extensive engineering work was undertaken to minimise noise and vibration, resulting in an exceptionally quiet experience at sea and at anchor, even by Feadship’s exacting standards. Powered by twin MTU engines, she cruises at 16 knots, reaches a top speed of 18.5 knots and offers a range of around 6,000 nautical miles.

Now entering the market following the delivery of her larger 101-metre successor, MOONRISE represents a rare opportunity to acquire a proven, pedigree Feadship that helped set the benchmark for the 100-metre-plus yacht category.
