A New Era of Leadership for FGI Yacht Group
As it continues its ascent within the superyacht industry, FGI Yacht Group has proudly announced a new era of leadership, with two new changes in management. Altea Llakmani has been appointed the Chief Executive Officer of the brokerage, and Frank Grzeszczak Jr. is set to assume the role of President.
FGI Yacht Group was founded in 2020 by Frank Grzeszczak Sr. and Altea Llakmani, and has since achieved impressive growth within the industry, surpassing $1 billion USD in gross sales across charter, sales and new construction projects.
Altea Llakmani, CEO of FGI Yacht Group, commented: ‘As we continue to grow, this leadership change is essential to stay ahead of industry trends while holding on to the values and relationships that have been central to our success.’
24 professionals now make up the FGI team, driven by a family-like culture that the Founder wished to instil in his workforce.
Frank Grzeszczak Sr. commented: ‘My goal was to build something that my family could continue for generations. I wanted to create a company that would not only thrive but become a foundation for future generations.’
Under its new leadership, FGI will continue building a skilled and talented team, delivering unmatched bespoke experiences for its clients. The brokerage is not aiming to be the biggest, however it strives to be the best at what it does, putting clients first and catering towards the younger clients who seek a different kind of yachting experience.
Absorbing the knowledge of his Father, Frank Jr. has developed a wealth of experience that has led to his success as a broker. His recent achievements include the sale of two yachts under construction, both with a LOA of 50 metres.
Altea Llakmani is set to bring an unparalleled global perspective to the brand, having worked with some of the world’s largest corporations. Llakmani has a strategic mindset that has been pivotal to the company’s growth, is fluent in multiple languages and has lived in some of the world’s most renowned luxury hubs, such as Monaco and Milan.
