A Remarkable Week for Gulf Craft: Four Superyachts Depart to Global Destinations

By Frances Flannagan

Gulf Craft has announced the departure of four of its luxurious vessels from its UAE shipyard this month. Amongst the superyachts are two brand-new 2023 launches: Majesty 111 and the Nomad 101, alongside two Majesty 100s.

As can be seen in the departures of four of its exceptional superyachts, Gulf Craft’s global order book remains full, showcasing the sustained demand for its impressive fleet. Gulf Craft has a global market reach, spanning Europe, the USA, Middle East, Africa, Asia, and the Pacific.

Mohammed Hussein Alshaali, Gulf Craft’s Chairman, commented: ‘Our ongoing commitment to 'Legacy in Motion' and the 'Global Expansion' pillars have been instrumental in our exponential growth and success, which solidified Gulf Craft's reputation as a trailblazer in the industry. As we projected at the beginning of this year, 2023 has proven to be a strong year with the highest revenue of any previous year in the company's history.’

All four of the yachts boast unmatched elegance, innovation, craftsmanship, and sustainability,  highlighting the shipyard’s pursuit of excellence. The Nomad 101 and Majesty 111 were both revealed at the Dubai International Boat Show, with the Nomad 101 to be showcased at the Sydney International Boat Show and the Majesty 111 at the Monaco Yacht Show. Since its launch in 2017, the Majesty 100 continues to gain attention and popularity, celebrated for impressive attributes that establish the vessel as an iconic choice for luxury enthusiasts across the globe.

The Majesty 111 is the creation of a joint effort between Gulf Craft and Phathom Studio. She has a meticulously designed tri-deck and a “mid-century modern” design language that features function at the heart of the design; offering seamless indoor-outdoor connection and optimised livability. A spacious salon, dining area, and fully-equipped galley are located on the main deck with the owner’s stateroom at the forward end. The stateroom emphasises this indoor-outdoor connection, with a mesmerising skylight into the upper deck plunge pool creating wonderful reflections while pouring in natural light.

The Nomad 101 similarly makes effective use of space, with harmonious proportions, ample interior areas, and great outdoor entertainment features, making her the perfect vessel for those wishing to enjoy long and leisurely cruises. The VIP Guestroom and twin guest cabins are located on the lower deck, connected by a lobby area. There are three crew accommodations and a captain’s cabin, emphasising the ample use of space onboard.

The environmental impact of the Nomad 101 was a key focus of the naval architecture. Reduced hull penetration, excellent fuel efficiency and a healthy nautical range of 3100nm makes the vessel a clear economical and environmentally friendly choice for long journeys.

Continuing the pattern of environmental impact being a key design focus, the Majesty 100 is compliant with the Maritime Coastguard Agency’s LY3 and has an environmentally friendly water treatment solution, showcasing her sustainable nature. She is 31.7m in length and is a lightweight vessel at 199 GT due to being made of fibre-reinforced polymer.

Aesthetically, the Majesty 100 is as impressive as she is architecturally, with lavish interiors and ample lounging areas, featuring timeless exterior styling alongside her uncompromised naval engineering.

Gulf Craft has a prosperous future ahead, set to redefine the luxury yachting experience as it  continues to be at the forefront  of  innovation. These four notable departures perfectly exemplify Gulf Craft’s status as one of the world’s few truly integrated shipyards.
