A Successful Start to the Year For Cantiere delle Marche
Another shipyard kicking off the new year with a bang; Cantiere delle Marche (CdM) has announced that it has signed its third contract in just three weeks for a brand new 39.42m explorer yacht. This bold vessel is set to reflect the quality and reliability of the shipyard’s previous explorer vessels, an icon of seaworthy features whilst remaining comfortable and offering unparalleled smooth-sailing.
CdM has collaborated with Arcon Yachts on its third successful deal in just three weeks; notably, its third sale with the brokerage. The Arcon team has already cooperated with CdM in the design of the Acciaio series, with one 123 and one 105 already delivered to Arcon’s clients. This new and recently sold project is a 130 ft one-off explorer yacht with four decks, featuring exterior design by Hydro Tec and interiors by Giorgio M. Cassetta.
Yet to have a project name, the 39.42m motor yacht is due to feature an imposing and flared bow aimed at effectively cutting through high seas, alongside a sheer line that flows smoothly down to create a sophisticated profile. The fashion plates reflect this flowing feature as they effortlessly glide to the main, upper and sun deck, leading to a feeling of continuity throughout the yacht.
She will have a beam of 8m, with an extremely efficient hull and bulbous bow to reduce fuel consumption whilst granting a smooth and comfortable ride for her Owner and guests. She is set to be powered by two Caterpillar C18 engines, delivering a top speed of 13.5 knots and a range of 5,000 nm+ at 10 knots.
Vasco Buonpensiere, Co-Founder and CEO of CdM commented: ‘I am pleased to express our satisfaction with this additional commercial success, which reaffirms the validity of our strategy centered around the quality and reliability of the explorer yachts we have built up to now, and our commitment to Owners’ satisfaction. We actually build strong bonds with our Clients and brokers that are usually very much involved in the entire project development. Beyond the joy of the sale, what makes us particularly proud is that it confirms the reputation we have earned through hard work and dedication. There is no doubt that CdM has become a key reference point for all those yachtsmen (and professionals) who are looking for a solid, reliable and content focused shipyard.’
