Admiral Yachts Marks New Milestone with Launch of First Panorama 50
Admiral Yachts has launched the inaugural hull of its new Panorama 50 line, a semi-custom 50-metre superyacht that signals a fresh chapter for the builder. Constructed with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, the vessel embodies the brand’s long-standing commitment to engineering rigour paired with contemporary Italian design.
Unveiled at The Italian Sea Group’s Marina di Carrara headquarters, the 499-GT yacht presents a smooth, uninterrupted profile defined by strength, lightness, and extensive glazing. These broad glass surfaces create a sense of openness, drawing the surrounding seascape into the interior and establishing a fluid dialogue between inside and out.
Exterior and interior design come from Piredda & Partners, who have taken a modern, sculptural approach that aligns with the yacht’s dynamic naval architecture. Beneath the refined lines, the Panorama 50 is powered by twin CAT ACERT C32 engines and 118 eKW generators, delivering a top speed of approximately 15 knots with a focus on efficiency and comfort.
A standout of the new platform is its seven-cabin layout, with the upper deck dedicated entirely to the owner, featuring a private suite framed by 180-degree glazing and an expansive terrace overlooking the sea. Guest cabins positioned on the main deck offer enhanced spaciousness, reflecting a deliberate design choice aimed at elevating onboard comfort.
At the stern, the beach area has been conceived as a wellness-oriented retreat. A pool with transparent walls forms the centrepiece, flanked by fold-out balconies that extend the space to water level. The effect is a calm, understated environment where minimalism meets warm, natural materials.
Inside, the yacht’s aesthetic is defined by sandy beige tones, honey-coloured wood, and a combination of smooth panelling and slatted ceilings. Admiral Centro Stile leans into clean lines and proportion, while Piredda & Partners introduce richer textures and sculptural contrasts, two interpretations that together shape a cohesive, contemporary whole.
While the Panorama 50 marks the beginning of a new semi-custom line for Admiral, it also stands as a statement of the yard’s evolving design language—one that pairs engineering solidity with a heightened sensitivity to light, space, and wellbeing onboard. With its distinctive seven-cabin layout, generous glazing, and thoughtfully crafted beach area, the yacht positions itself as a compelling new benchmark in the 50-metre segment, signalling clear ambitions for future evolutions of the Panorama platform.
